Train Technician

Join a dedicated team in Södertälje and play a key role in upgrading Stockholm's commuter trains. Our client is looking for an experienced Train Technician to support their field modification projects. About the role In this role, you will join a tight-knit team of six technicians focusing on field modifications and equipment upgrades. You will work hands-on with the vehicles, ensuring high-quality installations and modifications to keep the fleet modern and safe. Work tasks As a Train Technician, you will execute a variety of modification tasks, from camera installations to technical upgrades, helping to modernize the train fleet. Perform field modifications and product introductions on commuter trains. Install and replace onboard equipment, including cameras. Conduct troubleshooting and mechanical/electrical adjustments. Collaborate closely with a team of six skilled technicians. Ensure all safety and quality standards are strictly followed.

We are looking for Experience working as a train technician. Fluent in English. Able to pass a medical examination according to TD Drift TDOK2014:0230 or TSFS2019:112 and Kemiska Arbetsmiljörisker AFS 2023:15. Strong team player with good social skills.

It is meritorious if you have Swedish language skills. Specific experience working with Stockholm's commuter trains (Pendeltåg). Completed electrical safety training.
