Service Advisor/Servicerådgivare

About the Role We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Service Advisor to join an established automotive dealership in Täby, Stockholm. The dealership is an authorized dealer for BYD, operating within the rapidly growing electric vehicle market. As a Service Advisor, you will be the key link between customers and the workshop, ensuring a smooth, professional, and customer-focused experience throughout the service and repair process. You will work closely with customers, technicians, and the wider after-sales team to coordinate vehicle servicing, repairs, warranty matters, and vehicle handovers. Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service Welcome customers and provide a professional and positive service experience.

Understand customer concerns and identify their vehicle service and repair requirements.

Receive vehicles and accurately document customer concerns and requested work.

Explain recommended maintenance, repairs, costs, and estimated completion times.

Keep customers informed about the progress of their vehicle.

Handle customer questions and concerns professionally and efficiently.

Ensure a smooth vehicle handover and collection process.

Workshop Coordination Schedule and coordinate service and repair appointments.

Create and manage repair orders accurately.

Coordinate daily activities with technicians and the workshop team.

Monitor repair progress and provide timely updates to customers.

Identify additional work required during inspections and obtain customer approval where necessary.

Coordinate with technicians and parts teams to ensure vehicles are completed within agreed timelines.

After-Sales Administration Prepare service estimates and communicate costs clearly to customers.

Maintain accurate customer and vehicle records.

Document completed work, parts used, and customer approvals.

Support warranty and service-related cases.

Coordinate with internal teams regarding parts, repairs, and vehicle delivery.

Support invoicing and final vehicle handover.

Contribute to customer satisfaction and after-sales performance.

Requirements Previous experience as a Service Advisor, Service Receptionist, Workshop Coordinator, Automotive Customer Advisor, or in a similar automotive after-sales role.

Experience from an automotive dealership, workshop, service centre, or after-sales environment.

Good understanding of vehicle servicing, maintenance, and workshop processes.

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Ability to explain technical information clearly to customers.

Strong organisational and coordination skills.

Ability to manage multiple customer cases and priorities effectively.

Good administrative and IT skills.

Fluent Swedish and good English, both written and spoken.

Valid Swedish/EU driving licence is preferred.

Advantageous Experience Experience working with electric vehicles (EVs).

Knowledge of warranty and claims processes.

Experience with workshop management systems or automotive CRM systems.

Basic understanding of EV service and maintenance.
