Production Engineer - Digitalization

As part of our growing Cooling Systems business in Landskrona, Hitachi Energy is looking for a Production Engineer with a focus on Digitalization to join our team. You will work in a global organization that develops and manufactures reliable water-cooling systems for critical applications. We value teamwork, diversity, continuous learning, and innova-tion. Your Responsibilities Drive digitalization and automation initiatives within production and logistics to improve performance. Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs to support data-driven decisions. Collect, analyze, and visualize data to identify improvement opportunities and enable fact-based decisions. Drive the adoption and utilization of AI across factory operations to improve performance. Support integration between production systems, ERP solutions, and other digital platforms. Lead or contribute to projects related to MES, WMS, Industry 4.0, and continuous improvement. Promote Lean ways of working and support process optimization across the organization. Collaborate with colleagues across functions to implement sustainable and efficient solutions.

Your Background Degree in Engineering or a related field, with experience from manufacturing or production environments. Experience with databases, SQL, ERP systems (such as SAP), and programming. Knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, or similar platforms. Ability to manage projects and drive improvements independently. Great analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Collaborative and inclusive mindset, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams. Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
