We’re looking for experienced Backend Developers in Gothenburg who combine strong technical skills with ownership, curiosity and a genuine drive to move things forward. What you’ll be working with You’ll join a development team at one of our clients, building and operating modern backend services and cloud-based platforms for connected products and digital services. The exact technology stack will vary by assignment. It may include Java, C#/.NET, Python or Go, together with AWS and/or Azure. Some teams focus on customer-facing backend services, while others develop cloud platforms, integrations and developer tools. You’ll work in a collaborative, DevOps-oriented environment and contribute throughout the service lifecycle, from design and development to deployment, monitoring, operations and continuous improvement. Your work may include Developing and maintaining backend services using Java, C#/.NET, Python and/or Go Designing and building cloud-native solutions on AWS or Azure Building REST APIs, microservices and integrations Working with event-driven systems and distributed architectures Using cloud services such as AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB and SQS Working with containers and Kubernetes, depending on the team Improving CI/CD, automation, monitoring, logging and service reliability Contributing to code reviews, technical discussions and architecture decisions

Skills & qualifications We’re looking for someone with: At least 5 years of professional backend development experience Strong experience in at least one of the following: Java, C#/.NET, Python or Go. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure Experience building and operating APIs, services or distributed systems A good understanding of software quality, reliability and maintainability Fluent written and spoken English A BSc or MSc in Engineering, IT or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

Good to have AWS serverless experience, such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB or SQS Experience with Azure services Experience with Kubernetes and containerized applications CI/CD and DevOps practices Event-driven architecture or tools such as Kafka Experience in connected services, IoT, automotive or telecom Fluent written and spoken Swedish
