English-speaking babysitter in Lidingö

Looking for a fun and meaningful job in Lidingö? Do you love working with children and speaking English? The assignment We are currently looking for one to two committed babysitters for families on Lidingö. Each session a minimum of 2.5 hours. We see this as a long-term relationship and wish that you stay with the family for at least 3 months and onward. The role mainly includes picking up the child or children from preschool or school, preparing simple meals, and engaging in play and activities, while supporting the child’s English language development. Depending on the assignment, the work may occasionally also take place on weekends, or be limited to weekends only. Please note that when hiring babysitters at Upgrades, we require an extract from the criminal records registry. This is a part-time position, and you are therefore expected to have another primary occupation. Some of our assignments require a clean driving licence, so please indicate this in your application. Your profile As a babysitter at Upgrades, you are warm, responsible, and genuinely enjoy working with children. You are playful, engaged, and proactive, with a natural ability to take initiative and create meaningful opportunities for children to develop their English through play and everyday interactions. Requirements Full professional proficiency in the English language Excellent sense of responsibility and child safety Strong social and interpersonal skills Genuinely interested in childcare and pedagogy Positive, creative, dedicated, flexible, and proactive, with a natural ability to take initiative Swedish and/or other languages are not required, but knowledge is advantageous.
